Curt trailer hitches are finished with industry-leading rust, chip and UV protection. We accomplish this with a two-part finishing process. First, the hitch is immersed in a liquid A-coat bath that completely covers the inside and outside of the hitch in a rust-resistant layer. Second, a carbide black powder coat is applied over the top of the A-coat, giving the hitch highly durable protection against scuffs, scratches and rust.
