The KYB Truck-Plus is an ideal solution for owners of modern ½ ton trucks who are looking to increase their trucks handling and control capabilities. The Truck-Plus has all of the same research and testing as our Strut-Plus but includes a strut with additional damping, and on many applications a monotube design. Monotube designs have two separate working chambers; an air-free hydraulic area for complete fluid control and a second high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston that automatically adjusts to add instant performance on demand. The KYB Truck-Plus is built specifically for trucks that work, go off-road, have larger tires and wheels, or haul heavy loads. The best truck shocks won’t work well in a complete assembly without great springs. KYB uses high carbon steel coil springs that are heat treated, stress relieved, cycle tested, and salt spray tested.
