A locking twist latch is used to operate the cover, allowing it to be opened and closed regardless of tailgate position. When opened, the cover rolls smoothly into its canister via a continuous tension spring system. If you need partially open your bed, the cover can be locked in place every 12 Inch. To close the Full Metal JackRabbit, just pull the strap toward your tailgate. Installation can be done in your driveway or garage with a wrench, socket, and other basic hand tools.
