The trailer ball comes with a 1-3/4 Inch x 5/8 Inch shank to easily and securely drop into a lawn tractor tongue or ATV tongue or even a ball mount. It fastens securely with the provided nut and lock washer. This CURT hitch ball is rated to tow up to 2,000 Pound Gross Trailer Weight. This rating is stringently tested according to U.S. VESC V-5 specifications to ensure safety and dependability. The trailer ball is constructed from hot-forged steel for solid strength, and it features fine threads on the shank to increase the holding strength.
