These dampers are cast from nodular iron and suitable for moderate racing applications and engines. Nodular Iron is known for it's excellent strength and durability, which would work great as an upgrade from OEM. Unlike most OEM dampers, the hub and ring are splined to prevent radial movement of the outer ring. Our Sportsman Dampers help extend the lifespan of critical engine components by effectively dampening torsional vibrations. These dampers are 30 Percent stronger than OEM dampers but are not SFI certified.
