Professional Grade™ master cylinders have a smoother bore finish than a typical economy master cylinder. The rougher finish of the economy master cylinder bore can cause premature wear of the rubber seals, which can lead to loose pieces of rubber entering and compromising the ABS system. Inferior rubber components, as they deteriorate and flake off, can also lead to expensive ABS repairs.
