By replacing the factory hinges with the tire carrier and upgraded spindles using the factory mounting points, the Jeep owner has now the ability to operate both the carrier and tailgate simultaneously without any hassle. This design also incorporates an adjustable wheel mount. The heavy duty tire carrier can be used with either stock or aftermarket rear bumpers.
