That includes half ton pickups with utility beds, those equipped with a RamBox(R), and those equipped with a factory 5th wheel package such as the short bed Ram. Additionally, it will fit many mid-sized vehicles like the Colorado or Canyon and many other trucks with tight and limited bed space. The tank is baffled to minimize fuel sloshing and will even fit under most tonneau covers. The TITAN Travel Trekker 40™ is made of our famous military grade, cross-linked polymer, tougher than steel and more durable than aluminum. We routinely test our products using state-of-the-art computer simulation as well as actual, physical drop tests. Occasionally, a little soap and water, and perhaps a little spray furniture polish is all you need to keep your tank looking new. With one touch of a button, the remarkable TITAN Electronic Controller™ pumps fuel from the Travel Trekker 40™ to the vehicle’s primary fuel tank until it is automatically stopped by the controller or the button is touched again. The controller monitors and reports the fuel level in the auxiliary system at all times. Controller installation is simple and never requires cutting into the vehicle’s wiring harness which could affect the manufacturer’s warranty. Fuel is pumped from the top of the tank which is safer and more environmentally responsible than gravity flow systems.
