Dee Zee noticed that doing this would scratch the bed or the boards would not stay in place. That is when Dee Zee developed the Board Rubber Trim. Manufactured from a high-density rubber compound that will stand up to the weather. Just head to the nearest lumber yard and pick the size of board to be used. It can be used on a 2×4 all the way to a 2×10. Just trim the 24-inch rubber to the size of board. Now the board can be used without scratching the bed and will not slide around.
