No modifications are needed, just remove the old sealed-beam headlamp and install the HELLA Vision Plus Headlamp. All of the original mounting hardware and adjustments will continue to function as if the original sealed-beam bulb is still there, but you will be amazed at the difference in light output with up to 50 Percent more light output for low beams and up to 25 Percent more powerful high beams.
