40-gallon in-bed auxiliary fuel tank system is designed to be compatible with almost any diesel truck, including half-ton pickups, trucks with utility beds, Ram Box equipped trucks, or those with a factory installed 5th wheel prep package or other 5th wheel hitch. The patented fuel tank design has a recessed cover box where the sending unit, rollover valve, and fuel filter come preassembled. You’ll be pleased that its low height means it can fit under most standard tonneau bed covers. The 40-gallon fuel tank is manufactured from 14-gauge ReliaSteel (R), high-yield aluminized steel, and is baffled on all four sides for extra strength and to reduce fuel slosh. It comes will all parts needed for installation. Like all our auxiliary fuel tank systems, it is computer-controlled by our TRAX 4 ™ operating system for worry-free fuel transfers. Based on the capacity of your pickup’s main fuel tank and the capacity of the Transfer Flow auxiliary fuel tank, the TRAX 4 ™ system will transfer fuel at pre-determined levels from the auxiliary tank to the main tank while the vehicle is in operation.
